The product is a tartrate of tylosin . Its main ingredient is tartrate tylosin A with molecular formula (C46H77NO17)2•C4H6O6 and molecular weight 1982.37 . The potency of 1mg should not less than 800 tylosin units
Characteristics :
White or light yellow powder. Freely soluble in chloroform , soluble in water and ethanol , and almost insoluble in aether .
Pharmacological Action:
Since inhibits the biosynthesis of bacteria protein , Tylosin tartate can strongly inhibit the growth of gram-positive bacteria and bacteria-like , it also can inhibit the growth of some kinds of gram-negative bacteria and virus . It has exceptionally high activity against Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Pasteurella multocida and Staphylococcus aureus.
Indication:
Antibiotic . It can be used to cure infections caused by gram-negativebacteria , mycoplasma and so on .
Administration And Dosage:
Mixed in water . Per liter water 500mg for poultry , continuously medicated for 3-5days .Or medicate under the instruction of veterinarian .
